The old toilet block was built – this is now the rifle range!
Camper toilet block was built at a cost of £4000. Second generator was also installed.
The campsite website (www.willesley.org.uk) was redesigned and relaunched by Jonathan Ince.
The Oakthorpe Colliery winding and headstock arrived at the site (this is now located outside the Wardens caravan). Also, the second Wardens caravan was purchased. Later in the year, the church was reopened.
Using funds donated by the Alex Grose Memorial Fund, the double zip wire was constructed.
The gatehouse was formally opened by the Duke of Rutland. Also on the 10th of March, the bottom field was purchased for £70.
Mains electricity was connected to the site. The gatehouse was also erected.
